Green Digitization Conference
Within the framework of the project "Computer power becomes green" implemented by the Bureau for Regional Development, a Conference was held on June 6, 2023, where the activities carried out so far within the framework of the project were presented. Epi Center International, as a consulting company with more than 18 years of professional experience, is engaged to make an Assessment of the state of green digitization at the national level and for this purpose carries out a series of project activities.
Public Policy Preparation Meeting: Green Transition of Businesses
Epi Centar International, within the framework of the "National Platform for Women's Entrepreneurship (NPWE)" project co-financed by the European Union, has been assign to prepare a Public Policy document for the Green Transition of Businesses. For this purpose, an event was held with the project partners on May 19, 2023, attended by women entrepreneurs from various sectors, focused on a dialogue about what support is needed for the sustainable development of companies in the direction of the green transition.
Within the framework of the project, a sectoral group for "Green transition of businesses" was formed, in which companies managed by women are members in order to contribute to the development of policies and recommendations for the transition to a green economy in women's entrepreneurship through their professional experience. Using their expertise, the sector group provided the event with significant insights and guidance to encourage sustainable practices in business.
The role and importance of the media in the EU integration process
Journalists are a key partner on the road to the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia to the EU, contributing to increase public support by creating balanced and informative reports on the accession process. Reporting on the EU and the approach needs specific skills and knowledge about the EU, the key institutions and their competences and procedures, the decision-making process, as well as the responsibilities of local institutions.
In partnership with the Secretariat for European Affairs and with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Skopje, we organized the round table on "The role and importance of the media in the EU integration process - partnership, transparency and responsibility" at which the importance of European integration processes for the whole society was discussed with representatives of the media and the experiences of the countries of the region were presented.
