The project “Supporting Small-Scale Farmers – Core Support to NFF,” financially supported by the Swedish development organisation We Effect, provides the framework within which, together with the National Federation of Farmers (NFF), we are working on something very concrete – strengthening the knowledge and skills of young farmers, who represent the future of Macedonian agriculture.

Today, our team presented the results of the national survey conducted with 1,200 farmers from across the country. We did not start from assumptions – their responses, experiences and real-life challenges served as the basis for developing the practical educational programme “From Field to Market – Skills for a Successful Farmer.”

The programme consists of nine modules and is designed to help young farmers plan production more effectively, access markets, manage their finances better, and use resources in a more sustainable way.

With the support of We Effect, the commitment of NFF, and the direct contribution of young farmers, we are developing a programme that is based on real needs and is applicable in the everyday work of agricultural holdings.
