Labor law (increasing the scope of available ICT workforce, planning and recruiting the workforce, further qualification and requalification of personnel)
At this meeting there were present representatives of the business community, the public sector, citizens' associations, and the partners of MASIT and the rest of the chambers from Macedonia, the region and the broader.
The Forum is organized within the USAID Project - "Partnership for better business regulation", a four-year project financed by USAID Macedonia, implemented by EPI CENTAR International in cooperation with the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Chambers - MASIT, the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Macedonia and the Union of Macedonian Chambers of Commerce.
The objective of this project is to improve the compliance of micro, small and medium enterprises with the legal regulations and in addition to support the chambers in establishing a constructive dialogue with the relevant institutions in order to improve the regulation. Additionally, the discussions come as a result of the last year's forum’s discussions and special attention is set to the current labor law and to labor-related issues.
At the Forum in Bitola on the same topic, we prepared for this day's discussion and met with local companies and institutions that gave a special contribution to the key issues and subjects of the topic.
Considering the fact that the ICT sector is one of the fastest business sectors not only in Macedonia but also in the world, it is extremely important to work on finding solutions that will allow the development and progress of this sector. With this, it will be possible to create a competitive environment for ICT companies that will be in line with the world ICT dynamics.
