The implementing partners of USAID’s project “Partnership for better business regulation” accomplished a study visit in Prague, Czech Republic from 17 to 22 June.
Numerous institutions were included in the agenda and this is how high-level meetings were held. Amongst those institutions were the, Czech Chamber of commerce, the Ministry for trade and industry, the Agency for innovations and business development, Republic of Macedonia’s Embassy in the Czech Republic as well as the Czech Republic’s Ministry for foreign affairs.
The Project’s implementing partners expressed their gratification of the chance to meet and discuss the current obstacles which both countries are facing.
Additionally, numerous meetings with businessmen and representatives of Czech companies were held. A conclusion can be drawn that the Czech companies are considering the possibilities of investing in Macedonia based on all the information that was presented to them by the Macedonian representatives.
The attending Macedonian representatives and the official persons representing the Czech institutions agreed that these types of gatherings represent a positive example and are important for the future extension of the collaboration and the improvement of the overall relations between both countries.
